The sensation south star DHANUSH is going to make his Bollywood debut in `Raanjhana`. The movie will be directed by Anand L Rai of `Tanu Weds Manu` fame. The director has approached Sonam to play the female lead.
Sonam too is keen to do a South indian movie. An insider revealed, “Sonam could not sign the project immediately, since she was already committed to do a couple of films. But she is working on her dates and is likely to be part of `Raanjhana`.”
`Raanjhana` is said to be a romantic flick where DHANUSH will be playing a carefree youngster, whose life undergoes a sea change after he comes across a beautiful girl.
Makers feel Sonam is the right choice for the film and she fits the bill totally. They also think that Sonam kapoor can do full justice to the character. Some also feels that Sonam and Dhanush’s combination will click at the box-office.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is learning Hindi for `Raanjhana`. His highly anticipated film ‘3’ will release soon. The song of the movie, ‘Kolaveri D’ has already became a craze among the youths.
