Apple iPad 2 Price Drops to Rs.24500 in India

Apple has now dropped the price of  Ipad 2 base version (16 GB wifi only) to Rs.24,500 from Rs.. 29,500 while the new iPad also comes at Rs..29,500.

iPad 2 16 GB 3G version is approximately Rs..33,000. These two models will continue to sell alongside the new iPad.

However, the older stock of iPad 2s in 32 GB and 64 GB versions which is still available has also seen a reduction across the board. For instance, the 32 GB wifi is Rs..30,500, down from Rs.. 34,500. (Full price details will be updated here as we get them).

If you can get the current prices (starting Rs.. 29,500 from their April 2011 release) then those are the same prices which will be there for the new iPad.

Also in the US, Apple Inc slashed the price of the iPad 2 to $399, minutes after announcing its third-generation tablet.
